Ostrich Farm

The Ostrich Farm is located about 22 mins southeast of Palm Beach, along the road leading to the Natural Bridge, just before Bushiribana.

 

Take an informative and interactive guided tour!

-A guide who will introduce you to the ostriches.

-Learn about their speed and how it defends itself against predators using various mechanisms.

-Learn about their mating, rearing, and feeding habits, which will both surprise and entertain you

-Visit to the incubator, hatchery, and the special pens for young ostriches and emus.

-Learn some interesting facts about ostrich eggs as well as the incredible growth rate of young ostriches.

$14 per adult, $7 per child

Pro Tip's:

Be cautious feeding the ostriches because ostriches are constantly hungry, and if you have food in your hands, you may find yourself surrounded by a herd of curious critters!

Ostriches can be aggressive and attack glasses, hats and tops of heads

Also right here is the Natural Bridge, Cave Pool and Bushiribana Ruins! You can get to all by regular car. Wear tennis shoes and bring water shoes! Also be sure to stop at Huchada Bakery, right on the main road by the turn to the Natural Bridge!
