Bird Sanctuary

Located between Palm beach and Eagle Beach is the Bubali Bird Sanctuary. This is a haven for more than 80 species of migratory birds seeking lush vegetation to rest and breed.

A watch tower overlooks the sanctuary, providing an excellent vantage point to observe the birds in their natural habitat.

The sanctuary is situated near a water treatment facility that empties into two interconnected man-made ponds, which serve as a home to a variety of birds, such as herons, egrets, gulls, skimmers, coots, and ducks.

Conveniently located within walking distance of the Palm Beach resorts, the Bubali Bird Sanctuary is an ideal destination for bird watching enthusiasts.

You can easily spot it as it sits just in front of the historical Old Dutch Windmill.

Don't forget to bring your camera as many of the birds may fly by the observation tower, providing a unique and memorable experience.

This is also an excellent opportunity to introduce kids to the beauty of nature up close and personal.

PRO TIP:

The sanctuary does not have specific opening hours, but it's best to go early morning at dawn or late afternoon at dusk.

During the hottest hours of the day – from 12 PM to 4 PM – the birds will not be very active, and because of this, it is recommended to plan your visit well
