Aruba Aloe Factory
Located a few minutes east of Divi Village in the Eagle Beach area, discover the fascinating story of Aruba's number one export product - the healing miracle plant aloe.
Since its introduction to Aruba in 1840, aloe vera has flourished, covering two-thirds of the island's surface and transforming it into the world's largest aloe exporter.
Today, the Hato plantation remains a vital source of aloe, occupying 150 acres of land and supplying all Aruba aloe products.
Join one of their daily guided tours, given every 15 minutes, to explore the plantation, as well as our aloe museum and factory.
Their knowledgeable tour guides will reveal the secrets of the aloe plant and its many uses.
Meanwhile, the museum houses a national depository of ancient aloe tools and equipment, along with a complete library on the history, manufacture, and qualities of aloe vera.
