When is the best time to come to Aruba?

Updated: Sep 21

It's a question I hear a lot, and honestly, anytime is a great time to be here! Aruba enjoys beautiful weather year-round, with only about 20 inches of rain annually. Plus, it's outside the hurricane belt, so you can relax knowing your trip won't be affected by storms. The temperature usually hovers between 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit, with a lovely breeze and partly sunny skies.

I've noticed that it's less humid in the earlier months of the year, but that can vary depending on the weather. During my two-month+ stay from late January to early April, it definitely felt less sticky compared to the October to December period.

Rainy season falls between October and December, but don't worry too much about it. Even during that time, the rain tends to come in short bursts, often overnight or as quick showers during the day. I spent nearly four months here during the rainy season, and it never ruined our plans; if anything, it was a welcome break from the heat.

Keep in mind that in September and October, the island might lose its usual breeze if there's a storm system nearby. Be prepared for hotter conditions during those months!

As for high season versus low season, December to April is when things get busier and prices go up. If you're visiting during that time, it's a good idea to make reservations for restaurants and excursions in advance. But if you prefer a quieter vibe, consider coming between May and November. You'll find fewer crowds and more flexibility with reservations.

No matter when you visit, Aruba's consistent weather and laid-back atmosphere make it a fantastic destination. So why wait? Come experience the magic of Aruba for yourself—I promise you'll fall in love with this island paradise!
